Teaching Philosophy

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

Growing up I was blessed to have people that helped me and shaped me to become the person I am today. I will strive to give back to my future students and inspire them to become the best version of themselves. My main teaching philosophy is creating and building connections with students to strengthen engagement and help students reach their full potential. I hope that my genuine relationships with them will provide comfort, encouragement and emotional support.

Classroom Management

“You can be the best teacher with the best lessons but, without classroom management, it does not mean anything- Unknown." Implementing strong classroom management is crucial when it comes to learning. Without it, the students would not be able to focus on the new lesson. It is necessary because it helps keep the class organized for the students and teachers. In the future, I aspire to have a well-managed classroom. It will be achievable by implementing a reward system for the students as a form of positive reinforcement.

Diversity and Inclusion

Teaching our future students the meaning and importance of diversity and inclusion inside the classroom will encourage them to spread the values of inclusion and cultural respect in their everyday lives. As aspiring educators, we must influence our students to learn and work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. I aspire to provide instruction through a lens of diversity to help students foster cultural respect and understand the differences between people.
