Community building in the classroom is about constructing a safe space where students and teachers are committed to a shared learning goal and achieve learning through frequent collaboration and social interactions. Students need a safe space where they can learn and gain new knowledge. Students also need a place to help them make lasting connections with their peers. Building a safe community inside the classroom and beyond is essential because it makes everyone feel a sense of belonging. I will strive to create a positive environment for students in the future, making the school their second home.
When you walk into my future classroom, you will see a lot of engaging and making professional relationships with students. Building a positive community within my classroom is a valuable endeavour to enhance my students' climate, learning, and experience. I will try my best to become personable and approachable with my energetic personality. Let the students know that I am here for them and tell me anything. Calling them by their names, accepting questions, and being open to suggestions are some examples that can create a positive rapport with my students.
