Fostering Inquiry in the classroom

On the Edutopia website, Albert Einstein states that “the important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its reason for existing”(2022).

My future students will always be curious and will construct questions to foster their learning inside the classroom. Curiosity and education are very close to each other. They go hand in hand because curiosity can lead to grasping unfamiliar knowledge. It is necessary for us teachers to try our best to instill in our students the desire and motivation to learn new information. For example, whenever we are teaching a lesson, we must take the time to ask our students questions. It will show that we are also curious about their thoughts. Encouraging curiosity inside the classroom can prepare the brain for learning (Edutopia, 2020). When I get the opportunity to have my classroom, I will do whatever it takes to cultivate curiousness and knowledge. Using various learning centers and observation stations to develop different strategies will arouse their curiosity.
